Considered design. Made for every day.

OUR CRAFT

Design, with
a reason.

Our design philosophy is simple to state and demanding to practise: every element on the wrist should have a purpose.

ANATOMY OF A WATCH

Six parts.
One object.

  1. CrystalThe transparent cover that protects the dial.
  2. BezelThe ring that frames the crystal — sometimes with a printed scale.
  3. HandsHours, minutes and seconds, set at different heights so they pass freely.
  4. DialThe face of the watch, carrying indices, sub-dials and the KRONOR name.
  5. Case & crownThe body that holds everything; the crown sets the time.
  6. CasebackThe underside, closing the case against the wrist.

PRINCIPLES

How we design.

01

Proportion first

A watch is judged in a glance. We start with the relationships between case, dial, hands and strap — how they balance — before any detail is added.

02

Legibility

Time should be easy to read. Hands, indices and sub-dials are arranged so the essential information comes first and decoration never competes with it.

03

Restraint

Less noise, more meaning. If a detail does not earn its place on the dial, it does not stay there.

04

Versatility

Our watches are designed to move between settings — work, travel, evenings — without needing to be swapped.
